The Endless Snow

snow.jpg (8472 bytes)Would you kill someone to save yourself?
Would you feast on the flesh of someone else?
To save your life, would you risk your soul?
Cold and hungry and far from home.

Up ahead, the wind blows cold.
You stare into the blinding snow.
You've come so far to reach your goal-
Does it matter now? You don't know.

In the wide expanse of wilderness
It's food and drink you dearly miss.
Every last crumb of food is gone-
You've been hungry now for oh so long.

And there's a feeling you have deep inside-
Something is telling you to survive-
You have to try and stay alive!
But what price would you pay to stay alive?

Would you kill someone to save yourself?
Would you feast on the flesh of someone else?
To save your life would you risk your soul?
Cold and hungry and far from home.

And you have to survive-
You have to keep alive-
You must survive-
Survival! For God's sake, survive!

The wind blows stronger, chilling cold.
You take a knife, cut flesh from bone.
You must eat it, you know you must!
You throw it away in utter disgust.
You run into the blinding snow.
Over the endless ice you go.
Condemned to Hell, a blackened soul,
In your last hours, that is all you know.

Would you kill someone to save yourself?
Would you feast on the flesh of someone else?
To save your life, would you risk your soul?
Cold and hungry and far from home.
