I see you
Through panes of glass.
My love!  My one and only
Who will never be mine.
We are from different worlds:
Yours of blue skies and sunshine
And mine of clear waters.
I see you, larger than life:
Refraction of light from your world to mine.

Do you see me as less?
I will never know:
Communication is beyond us.
I could not understand your language
Nor you mine.
We know only love
Each in our own world's way.
I could not live in your world,
